Oyaide AP-037 Mains Power Plug

The Oyaide AP-037 Mains Power Plug is part of the ARMORED Series and uses deoxidized phosphor bronze contacts with thick silver and rhodium plating. In addition, its dual housing and flexible cable clamp support a secure cable fit. It accepts up to 10 AWG cable and is rated at 125V/15A.

The blade material choices for new “ARMORED” AP series are inherited from the former successful P/C series.  AP-037 are chosen for the first line up models of new “ARMORED” series. These were chosen not only for their higher electric conductivity, but also for various additional factors such as springiness and hardness for their primary functions.
Applying our extensive experience, we carefully reviewed and updated the annealing process temperatures and duration for each selected material, maximizing the performance of each one.

Product Details

The Oyaide AP-037 Mains Power Plug is a Japanese-made audio power plug from the ARMORED Series. It uses deoxidized phosphor bronze contacts with thick silver and rhodium plating. Furthermore, the dual housing and flexible cable clamp help provide a firm cable connection.

The PBT body with 30% glass fiber adds mechanical strength, while the polycarbonate cover uses IP treatment. In addition, the AP-037 accepts cables from 5.0 to 16.5 mm and conductors up to 10 AWG. It is rated at 125V/15A and is PSE certified.
