The title track of singer-songwriter Jackson Browne’s third studio album, released in 1974, bears Browne’s poignant and poetic lyrics, reflecting on love, loss, the passage of time and the inevitability of change. Other songs include “Fountains of Sorrow,” “For A Dancer,” and “Before The Deluge.” Browne was joined on the album by David Lindley and his stellar group, along with guests Dan Fogelberg, Don Henley and J.D Souther.
