Pink Floyd’s Ummagumma offers a fascinating look at the band’s experimental side in 1969. This 180 gram double LP combines a live album recorded in Birmingham and Manchester with a studio disc featuring individual compositions by the band members.
From the live energy of “Astronomy Domine” to the unusual sound experiments of “Several Species of Small Furry Animals,” the album explores progressive rock in bold new directions. Remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman, this edition is a compelling addition to any Pink Floyd vinyl collection.
