The PURITAN Ground Master CITY provides a practical grounding solution when a conventional ground rod cannot be used. First, it is designed to address unwanted ground-line noise in compatible hi-fi and AV systems.
In addition, the CITY version is available with UK, NEMA and Schuko options, making it suitable for different power-system requirements. Therefore, it offers a convenient alternative for audio systems where installing a dedicated grounding rod is not practical.
When it is not possible to install an external ground rod much of the benefit associated with a full GroundMaster installation can be achieved by using a GroundMaster CITY which simply plugs into a spare wall socket. A specially formulated core absorbs interference frequencies converting them them to harmless heat.
With the Puritan Ground Master (used in conjunction with an additional Ground Rod), offending noise and disturbance frequencies are identified and channelled through a low impedance route to ground, ensuring their elimination.
