Introduction to the Serene Stabiliser
The SERENE Record Stabiliser fits over the turntable spindle and rests on the label, designed to absorb micro-vibrations from multiple sources, including the stylus, acoustic feedback, and other ambient noise. Its dual-mechanism design helps intercept these micro-vibrations before they reach the cartridge, allowing the stylus to track the groove with greater clarity. By lowering noise at this sensitive point, the SERENE Stabiliser enhances subtle details and spatial depth, creating a more natural and immersive listening experience.

The micro-vibrations picked up by the stylus are challenging to manage, as conventional vibration control falls short at this level. The SERENE Stabiliser addresses this with a unique design: at its core, a hub fits over the spindle, while an aluminium body sits evenly on the record label, pressing down to create a secure fit. This tension stretches the silicone membrane into a trampoline-like surface, allowing internal particles to move freely.

The SERENE Stabiliser re-engineers the AUVA technology for the micro vibrations on turntables. It does this by employing lightweight rubber particles to manage vibrations. As the stabiliser’s weight steadies the membrane, particles absorb vibrational energy by colliding and converting it into heat through friction. This method ensures effective damping, even for micro-vibrations. Think of it like throwing a ball into sand: instead of the energy rebounding, the sand absorbs and dissipates it.
