The Oyaide P-079 Mains Power Connector is a Made-in-Japan audio power plug designed for high-quality power cable builds. It uses 1.4 mm deoxidized phosphor bronze contacts with pure 24K gold plating. In addition, its 30% glass-filled PBT body provides strong insulation and rigidity.
The polycarbonate housing adds mechanical strength, while non-magnetic stainless steel screws support secure assembly. Furthermore, the P-079 accepts 6.5–17 mm cables and up to 10 AWG wire. It is rated at 125V/15A and is PSE certified.

The basic material is 1.4mm thick deoxidized phosphor bronze for strength and secure contact. When connected, they can take over 7kg load. Surface is thoroughly polished twice. - Plating
The manufacturing process is started from foundation coating. The material which was punched out as a part is polished by hand piece by piece after machined barrel-polishing.The plating of the P-079/C-079 is 24k Gold.
Generally, 18k gold plating applied for industrial use is actually "gold alloy" due to enhancing its corrosion resistance property and durability. - Inner Body
30% glass filled PBT has excellent machine-ability and provides superior electrical isolation. The highly rigid body of the P-037/C-037 effectively attenuates high-speed vibrations. All screws, which were originally designed for P/C series, are made of highly rigid stainless steel which is non-magnetic substance.
