B.B. King 2CD: B.B. King was the most successful and renowned performer of the blues in his generation; he was an artist who came from very modest beginnings in Mississippi but ended up playing his music at the most prestigious stages across the globe and gave respectability to blues that was never there before. As much as King made his mark in the early fifties, it was in the mid sixties when King broke through into pop market, and he released his signature song, "The Thrill Is Gone" in 1969.
Definitive Greatest Hits by B.B. King is a two CD compilation of greatest and most popular singles made by King since the sixties till now and includes "I Like to Live the Love," "Why I Sing the Blues," "Every Day I Have the Blues," "Into the Night," "My Lucille," "The Thrill Is Gone" and several others along with performances by Robert Cray, Bobby Blue Bland, Gary Moore, and U2.
